My Pop's Flank Steak Marinade

Serves 4 to 8 
INGREDIENTS
1 or 2 flank steaks
1/2 cup soy sauce*
1/2 cup olive oil
4 1/2 Tbsp honey
6 cloves garlic, minced
3 Tbsp fresh rosemary, minced
1 1/2 Tbsp black pepper
1 1/2 tsp sea salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. Whisk all of the ingredients but steaks together in a small bowl. Place into a zip lock bag or or shallow glass container and add the steaks. Toss and seal.
  2. Ideally marinade for 24 hours or over night, but for at least 2 hours.
  3. Remove from fridge, let steaks come to room temperature and cook as desired. Bon appétit! 
*If avoiding soy or gluten, substitute the soy sauce for coconut aminos and only add 3 Tbsp of honey rather than 4 1/2 Tbsp
